The Competition
This year, All Soft Conditioner competed against Joico K-PAK Conditioner, Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm, PureOlogy HydrateCondition, and Redken’s own Color Extend Conditioner. Last year’s winner, Farouk Systems’ Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner, wasn’t even in the running.

Olive oil is a workhorse known in the culinary, cleaning, beauty, and health industries. It is also a key ingredient in All Soft that conditions hair from the inside out. “Fine haired divas...I'd look elsewhere for a product. Thick haired ladies...we all hate you, but give it a whirl,” recommends Ksm0227 on the same site. “I loved that I could use this product and that my hair felt soft and healthy. I also loved the way my hair smelled after using it...but the cons outweigh the pros for this conditioner. I styled my limp hair after, like normal, but my hair did not hold a curl and fell flat against my head. It quickly became a my-hair-feels-nice-but-it-is-a-pony-tail-kinda-day. I like full, voluminous hair, but it did not happen. Do I still use this conditioner? Well, I paid $12.00 for it, so hell ya, I am still using it.”
